The Calanque des Figuières
A little harbour and a quiet cove, 200 m on foot from the apartment
The Calanque des Figuières is one of the coves of Ensuès-la-Redonne, on the Côte Bleue, west of Marseille. A small fishing harbour, limestone cliffs and clear water: this is the setting at your doorstep when you stay at AU BLEURIVAGE, as the apartment is only 200 m away on foot.
Swimming at Figuières
Here you swim from a cove rather than from a large sandy beach: you walk down from the apartment, with no car, no shuttle and no time slot to book. The place stays quiet, even in high season, and lies within the Côte Bleue Marine Park. Bring water shoes to enter the sea from the rocks and pebbles.
Around Figuières: more coves on foot
- Calanque des Anthénors — a lovely swimming spot nearby.
- Calanque de l'Érevine — one of the most beautiful on the Côte Bleue.
- La Redonne beach — a pebble beach known for its clear water.
- Méjean — a small harbour, ideal starting point for paddleboarding and kayaking.
All these coves are linked by the customs officers' path, which follows the sea as far as Niolon.
